Difficulty in emptying bowel, which is associated with hard stool is known as constipation. It is accompanied by the following symptoms –

Keep Yourself Hydrated

Eat a Fiber-Rich Diet
Fiber helps in adding the bulk to the stool and also improves the consistency of stool, making them easier to pass. The insoluble fiber such as wheat bran, whole grains, and vegetables adds bulk to the stool and the soluble fiber such as oats, nuts, seeds, lentil and some fruits and vegetables, help in softening the stool.

Castor oil is the well known natural remedy to relieve constipation. The oil breaks down into smaller components to stimulate the small and large intestine. One or two teaspoons of oil can be taken empty stomach or it can also be consumed with milk. The result is quick and easy.
